My name is Sara, and I am a Youth Services Librarian in Olympia, Washington. I spend my days planning programming and doing Reader's Advisory for kids and teenagers. I spend a lot of my free time reading, which hopefully means I get better and better at recommending books.
I am fascinated by the idea that there is no such thing as a "good" or "bad" book. Everyone sees every book differently, and I truly believe that there is a perfect book for everyone out there. I think it's my job to validate everyone's reading, and help match people to their perfect book.
Aside from librarianing, some of the things I love are:
Horror movies (especially super creepy haunted house movies)
Cheese (especially goat cheese and super sharp hard cheese)
Foxes (they're just the best animal)
Games (of all kinds, really)
Interesting and delicious food from all over the world
